Battlefield 2042's design head announces he's leaving DICE this week - mcevoyalliver

It's come to light that DICE's head of contrive Fawzi Mesmar is leaving the studio apartment following the unblock of Battlefield 2042.

As discovered by Video Games Story, Mesmar announced his departure in an email to stave in the first place this week. It read "Information technology was an right-down pleasance to process on the best contrive teams in the wandflower. The undreamed design oeuvre that you do continues to inspire Maine every day. Thank you for putting few trust in Pine Tree State, I hope I didn't disappoint."

According to the letter, Mesmar had plans in motion to leave before the spill of Battlefield 2042. "I have been ready-made an offer up I couldn't refuse at another companionship that has been hospitable enough to postponemen for me until we have shipped. It was super outstanding to me to be here with the team as we achieve this historical milestone." Though he's not revealed his incoming destination exactly, He will apparently stay on in DICE's home urban center of Capital of Sweden, Sweden.

Mesmar says he's been discussing with studio general manager Oskar Gabrielson on his succession plans for some time. They'll be announced in due course. Even so, they delayed announcing his departure "to keep the focalise – rightfully thus – on the game we've been putting a monumental amount of effort on". Mesmar's last day as Field of battle 2042 design head is said to represent tomorrow. EA unchangeable the news in their possess statement to VGC. It reads: "Fawzi Mesmar is leaving DICE at the end of the hebdomad. We wish him the Sunday-go-to-meeting in his future endeavours."

Field 2042, meanwhile, has sportsmanlike deployed its second major update patch now. It'll be releasing another in early December, having detailed the contents before this week.
