How To Install Mac Os Sierra On Older Mac

I have a 2022 MacBook Air on its last legs. Wondering if installing macOS Sierra will brand information technology worse or inject some fresh life into the erstwhile automobile.

I am running on a 2022 MacBook Pro and for me at that place is no discernible performance departure. I have an SSD and 16MB RAM though which may assist.

I have a 2022 mac mini base of operations with ssd and 16 memor and it runs very well. Possibly even a little better than el capitan, I'chiliad quite surprised every bit this is ordinarily the buggier part of the release bike. I'one thousand very happy with information technology.

Running Sierra on a MacBook Pro Mid 2009 (unsupported, via dosude1'southward hack). Doesn't experience different in whatever mode, equally far every bit speed is concerned. I have maxed out RAM to 8 GB and installed an SSD 2 years ago. Even with filevault encryption turned on, I find information technology perfectly usable for postal service, text processing, internet, occasional photoshopping and media organization and consumption (handbrake encodings exercise take their time, but that's non Sierra-specific).

Any version of Bone Ten from ten.9 onward is miserable on a Mac bought stock from the Apple store.

Typing this on Sierra on 2022 13" MBA. In truth, 4gb is not enough to do any real work on this computer as it swaps very speedily.

I installed Sierra on an unsupported Macbook Pro 5,1 (early 2009) and it runs very well, similar to El Cap. Only 4GB of RAM but with and SSD.

Installed on 2022 mac mini,8GB Ram and 1TB HDD. And so far no issues.
Likewise installed on 2022 Macbook Pro 13" with 8GB Ram and 240gb SSD.

No, mine is non a Retina model.
